Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day financial matters, month-end and year-end accounts closing, including the preparation and/or review of the monthly, quarterly and year-end audit schedules and financial reporting packages

  • Responsible for the good quality of the balance sheet

  • Review internal charge and reclassification requests

  • Review bank reconciliation and resolve reconciling items

  • Review miscellaneous receipts and follow up on unaccounted sums

  • Investigate and resolve user’s queries

  • Responsible for GST and other statistical submissions

  • Liaise with internal and external auditors on audit matters

  • Liaise with tax agent on corporate tax and GST matters

  • Lead and participate in process improvement projects

  • Ensure compliance with group financial policies, procedures, accounting standard and other regulations

  • Ad-hoc assignments

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Business Administration/Commerce/Accountancy/HR or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant payroll experience with at least 2 years of supervisory role

  • Meticulous with an eye for detail

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Familiar with Employment and CPF Acts

  • Ability to work in a high transactional volume environment

  • Hands-on experience with SAP system and/or shared service payroll experience will be an added advantage
