About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our dynamic team at SINARAN ADVANCE GROUP BERHAD in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of accounting and bookkeeping tasks, supporting the company's financial operations and growth. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for professional development and career advancement.

What you'll be doing

  1. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the general ledger.
  2. Preparing and analysing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  3. Reconciling bank accounts and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.
  4. Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  5. Providing support to the finance team in various projects and ad-hoc tasks.
  6. Communicating financial information to stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  7. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance department.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role.
  2. Strong proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  7. Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is preferred.
