Graphic Designer (Retail Electrical Appliances Brand)

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. Your role will be pivotal in shaping our brand identity, designing engaging visuals for print and digital media (including Chinese-language materials), and maintaining consistency across all marketing assets. If you are passionate about design, possess a keen aesthetic sense, and have experience in retail/e-commerce branding, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Brand & Creative Direction:
    • Develop and uphold brand guidelines, ensuring visual consistency across Chinese and English marketing materials.
    • Conceptualize and produce designs aligned with our brand identity for bilingual (Chinese/English) audiences.
  2. Design & Production:
    • Create high-quality print and digital collateral, including:
    • Chinese & English product catalogs, brochures, packaging, and POS materials
    • Social media graphics, banners, and ads (e.g., WeChat, Xiaohongshu)
    • Website graphics, UI elements, and motion graphics (GIFs/videos)
  3. Ensure accurate Chinese typography, layout, and cultural appropriateness in designs.
  4. Retouch and enhance product images for a professional appearance.
  5. Project Management:
    • Manage multiple projects, including Chinese copy integration, while meeting deadlines.
    • Collaborate with copywriters and marketers to ensure seamless integration of text and visuals.
  6. Quality & Improvement:
    • Review final layouts, including Chinese-language content, and suggest improvements.
Job Requirements:

Language & Design Skills:

  • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) – Ability to read, understand, and design with Chinese text (including typo hierarchy, font pairing, spacing).
  • 1-3 years of graphic design experience (retail/e-commerce/agency preferred).
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Soft Skills:

  • Attention to Detail – Ensure error-free Chinese copy and balanced layouts.
  • Cultural Awareness – Understand design preferences for Chinese-speaking markets.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Chinese social media design (WeChat, Douyin, Tmall).
  • Knowledge of Cantonese (if applicable).
