An established industry player in the consumer electronics manufacturing sector is seeking a Logistics Executive to manage shipment arrangements and documentation. This role involves liaising with Customs Authorities, analyzing shipping trends, and preparing logistics expense reports. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma in Logistics or Manufacturing, with strong communication skills in English and Malay. Shipment arrangement and documentation preparation including invoicing, packing list, etc.
Export and import shipment tracking and reporting.
Work closely with Customer Service Planner on the customer shipment arrangement.
Liaise with Customs Authority and understand the Customs guidelines and requirements.
Prepare and submit Customs Reports as needed.
Handle all Customs clearance issues, requirements, documentation, and approvals for incoming and outgoing shipments.
Manage forwarders to ensure shipments are processed within the agreed customs clearance and transit times.
Conduct volume-based price negotiations with multiple forwarders to ensure cost competitiveness.
Analyze weekly and monthly shipping trends to improve logistics planning and expenses.
Prepare monthly and yearly logistics expenses reports.
Perform any ad hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a diploma or professional degree in Logistics, Manufacturing, or equivalent.
Fresh graduates or junior executives with at least 2 years of relevant experience are welcome.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products like Word, Excel, etc.
Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
Effective written and spoken communication skills in English and Malay; Mandarin is an advantage.
