Assistant Manager, Materials Planning

Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

• Plan and pipeline inventory for low to medium complex customer demand—lower dollar value and/or lower part count.
• Review backlog and shortage reports to assure uninterrupted supply of inventory. Tools would include backlog matching, shortage reports and the Arrow flex reports with minimum customer interaction.
• Prepare Arrow generated forecasts for e-compass. Upload and manage the exceptions generated from the e-compass processing.
• Maintain manual bonds to assure interrupted availability of inventory.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Diploma or bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of experience in material planning. Managerial experience is a plus.
• Experience in EMS, contract manufacturing, or the electronics industry is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• A proactive mindset with a positive, problem-solving attitude.
• Familiarity with MRP, Oracle, or SAP systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess challenges and implement effective solutions using standard procedures.
