We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Digital Project Senior Analyst,- AVP( Hybrid) ,Internal Job Title: Project Sr Analyst - C12 based in Kuala Lumpur. The Project Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role within the Digital First Transfer Agency team. The goal of the team, in collaboration with Technology and Product partners, is to define and execute a project plan of work to deliver on Citi’s Digital First Transfer Agency program.

The Project Sr Analyst will play a key role within Citi’s Kuala Lumpur Operations centre. They are expected to help drive engagement and successfully roll out the Digital First program. They will be required to integrate subject matter and industry expertise within an Agile development program. Good analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources will be key to ensuring a successful roll out, inclusive of team training and operational readiness activities. Given the variety of local and global stakeholders from different areas of the business, strong communication skills will be required.

Role Background :

Citi is operating in a continually changing environment and undergoing a period of growth Globally in the fund administration space.

As part of the recent growth in APAC, there is a focus is on delivery of a high performing digital model for Clients, Investors, Advisors and Operations teams.

The individual appointed will be a key team member who will will support and enhance the Digital model for Transfer Agency, within the Global Change management team.

Key Responsibilities:

Successful candidate will manage a team involved in all aspects of Digital Support and Change management for key locations across APAC.

  • Requirements gathering/gap analysis (including facilitation of workshops) and documentation of business requirements (BRD’s/Impact Assessments for enhancement requirements, User Stories) for the system including reporting.
  • Document Operational Models & mapping out of new target operating models, balancing client needs with regulatory requirements & Citi’s multi-location operational model.
  • Alignment with Citi’s standard TA product catalogue & ensuring ongoing updates are documented & submitted where required.
  • Manage the planning, preparation, and delivery of the testing phases (including functional, regression and Op model testing) for the system and processes, including developing, executing and documentation of test plans, test cases and results.
  • Manage the co-ordination, support and execution of User Acceptance Testing, Model Office & Parallel runs (pre implementation).
  • Working with multiple operational areas regarding each phase of the project to ensure input, engagement, and that operational requirements are reflected in the project deliverable
  • Assisting in the development and execution of Operational Readiness in preparation of Go-Live, including training programs and operating procedure design
  • Provide input to management at TA platform level re.co-ordination of environments, package releases, testing.
  • Supporting the operating model design, systems migration process and process re-engineering
  • Assess, understand, and manage interdependencies with other work streams
  • Contribute to other work-streams as the need arises.
  • Quickly develop solid understanding of the technical systems used to deliver the TA service Act as functional TA SME if required.
  • Promote a ‘Fintech First’ approach when considering manual processes. Automation/efficiency should be the go to model.
  • Development of trusted & collaborative relationships with technology counterparts.
  • Openly share knowledge internally
  • Mentor and regularly engage less experienced team members to drive efficiencies & mitigate risk within our operational processes we deliver to our clients.

Knowledge/Experience:

Essential:

  • This position requires an individual with a proven record of managing a team and/or working in a Client facing or operational support role.
  • 5-8 years industry experience in Fund Administration in a change analyst, business analyst or business support role.
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • Demonstrable understanding of TA business and processes
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile
  • Experience in working with vendors, clients and/or operations teams in a support capacity.

Education Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business studies/technology or equivalent desirable project management or business analyst certification by a reputable organization preferred.
  • Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience in Transfer Agency, Business Support and/or Change Management.
