We are seeking a Senior Finance & Operations Executive to be based in Johor Bahru. This
is a hands-on role that combines core finance responsibilities while supporting critical
operational processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable
working across teams and functions.
Key Responsibilities
Finance (Primary Function)
- Lead day-to-day finance functions: AP/AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations.
- Assist with the preparation of full sets of accounts, monthly closing, and
reconciliation.
- Prepare Group management accounts and reports, for internal and external
stakeholders.
- Monitor cash flow, manage treasury operations, and support capital adequacy
planning for the Group
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Maintain internal financial dashboards and models to support decision-making.
- Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls and documentation.
- Prepare MAS regulatory reporting (monthly, quarterly and annual submissions).
- Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and statutory filings.
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments and statutory contributions.
- Support any other ad-hoc finance activities when required.
Operations Support (Secondary Function)
- Assist in back office general operations, including settlement, securities, and money
market transactions. Provide support for Custody Settlements and Payments.
- Assist with custody account reconciliation and crypto wallet accounting.
- Support operational readiness for new product launches and regulatory updates
- Help maintain and improve internal SOPs and reporting templates.
- Support any other ad-hoc operational activities when required.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification
(e.g. ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably with exposure to business
operations.
- Familiarity with Singapore accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance
practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, data analytic and accounting systems such as Power BI,
Xero or QuickBooks.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills; comfortable working independently.
- Willing to travel minimally three times a week to Singapore.
