  • You will be part of a team of go-getters and do-gooders, working closely with our Procurement team, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on daily vendor issues, performance, and improvements.
  • This role involves overseeing vendor sourcing, contract negotiations, contract management, vendor relationships, budget management, and ensuring accurate financial reporting on purchases. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement practices, financial regulations, and multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment.

Work Life:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for sourcing goods, services, and equipment, especially in Johor Region.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, negotiate terms, and secure favorable pricing and contracts.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including RFQs, purchase orders, and supplier management.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, and contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand needs and provide procurement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, guidelines, and standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring legal and company standards are met.
  • Oversee contract lifecycle from drafting to renewal and termination.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled, including pricing, delivery, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor contract performance and address breaches or non-compliance.
  • Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations timely.
  • Work with legal teams to align contracts with policies and legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of procurement and finance experience, preferably in similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract law, and vendor management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in procurement software.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Independent work capability and multitasking skills.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Critical and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work across functions.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Construction / M&E / Project Management / P2P / Adhoc Procurement sourcing.
  • Procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) or Contract Management certifications are a plus.
