Sunway Medical Centre Velocity is hiring compassionate Nurses for our Nursery team. Join us in providing quality care to newborns and their families. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll be doing

1. Provide care for level 1 and level 2 nursery for newborn infants.
2. Provide holistic care for newborn infants under the guidance of their consultant.
3. Recognize warning signs of abnormalities in neonates and perform neonatal resuscitation.
4. Anticipate potential risks and execute appropriate actions to ensure a safe environment.
5. Demonstrate operational knowledge of nursing procedures applicable to the area of assignment.
6. Address parents’ complaints promptly.
7. Establish protocols for handling emergency situations.

What we're looking for

• A Diploma/Degree in Nursing or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 1 year of clinical/nursing experience in related fields.
• Current registration and valid practising certificate with the Malaysian Nursing Board.
• Experience in care of newborns and breastfeeding support.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• A compassionate and patient-centred approach to nursing care.
