POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the SEA Regional Operations Director, the Senior Manager, Operations Programs & Performance plays a critical role in enabling the success of regional operations. This position focuses on supporting operational governance, lease and service-level compliance, customer reporting, business reviews, operational analytics, and driving efficiency initiatives.
A key responsibility will be the development of an integrated operations model that can scale to support regional and global Operations Control Centers (ROCC and GOCC) initiatives, aligning site-level activities with broader operational strategy and standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support to Regional Operations Director
- Assist in the review and management of lease obligations, customer contracts, and operational compliance.
- Maintain a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) of site information providing a centralised broader view across the business and operations, including SLAs and DayOne customer service obligations on a per lease basis.
- Prepare materials and data for customer and business reviews, ensuring high-quality, data-driven presentations.
- Support the Director in regional governance initiatives, operational meetings, and audits.
- Act as a liaison between the Director and site operations teams to ensure alignment of operational practices and reporting.
Operational Analytics and Reporting
- Develop and maintain operational performance dashboards (e.g., uptime, incidents, maintenance KPIs, risk indicators).
- Analyse performance data across the region to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Produce reports and insights for internal stakeholders and customers, supporting continuous improvement.
Efficiency and Process Improvement
- Identify and drive regional initiatives to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Support the implementation of best practices in incident management, change management, and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of standard operating procedures and operational frameworks.
Integrated Operations Model Development
- Collaborate with the Regional Director and global teams to design and build an integrated operating model that enables centralised monitoring, control, and reporting.
- Develop frameworks and processes that scale to support both Regional and Global Operations Control Centers (ROCC and GOCC).
- Participate in the evaluation and deployment of tools and systems that enhance operational visibility and proactive management.
Lease and Compliance Management
- Support the review and compliance tracking of all customer leases and site obligations.
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure that lease and SLA commitments are met or exceeded.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Engineering or Trade background.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in critical environments such as data centers.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of ITIL processes and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies for operational efficiency and service improvement.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve operational issues.
- Collaboration: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
- Communication: Strong communicator with the ability to interact effectively with all professional levels within an organization.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
- Contract Management: Experience with multi-jurisdictional contracts.
- International Experience: Experience working internationally, ideally within the APAC region.
