Job description

To handle the company's full set of accounts, financial planning, tax, and overall financial management, ensuring the company's financial data is accurate and trustworthy.

Assist in preparing a full set of accounts, monthly financial, and management reports.

Manage cash flow and treasury functions, along with general corporate accounting management.

Review monthly financial management reports to ensure compliance with reporting standards.

Maintain all contractual documents related to office banking arrangements, payments, and legal matters concerning debtors.

Responsible for preparing and revising the annual budget.

Prepare quarterly board papers highlighting financial results compared to the annual budget.

Assist in the preparation of annual audits and ensure company tax compliance with mandatory requirements.

Ensure that accounting records and systems comply with company policies, approved accounting standards, and statutory requirements.

Perform other ad hoc assignments and tasks as requested by management.

Academic or Trade Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a partial professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent.

Work Experience and Skills

Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant work experience.

Immediate joining is an advantage.

Required languages: Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will serve Mandarin-speaking customers.

Ability to handle a full set of accounts is an added advantage.

Ability to interact successfully across cultures.

Strong critical thinking, creative problem-solving skills, judgment, and decision-making abilities.

Willing to work overtime, with a high level of commitment and responsibility.

Ability to meet tight deadlines.
