Job description

We are hiring on behalf of a client for the position of Senior Reservoir Engineer.

Qualifications:

• Possess a B.Sc / B.A. or higher Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas industry.
• Deep proficiency in reservoir simulation and classical reservoir engineering techniques.
• Proficient in reservoir simulation work and well surveillance using software such as Eclipse black-oil simulator and Petrel RE.
• Strong skills in data analysis, including PVT, rock properties, and production performance.
• Knowledge of Saphir and PETEX software (PROSPER, MBAL, and GAP) is advantageous.
• Experience with basic engineering criteria, including logging, PVT, and core analysis.
• Ability to communicate complex engineering concepts effectively.
• Excellent work planning, coordination, analytical, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with reserves evaluation processes.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse team environments.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Experience in leading and mentoring junior staff.
• Familiarity with PETRONAS technical review processes; capable of formulating FDP, FFR, and similar plans.
