The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business operations in the freight forwarding industry, ensuring the achievement of strategic goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in leadership, business development, and operational management, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.

Key Tasks:
  • Responsibility for Branch EBIT;
  • Fulfill and exceed customer expectations by providing the highest possible service quality;
  • Optimize transactions, increase sales, and manage costs effectively;
  • Drive strong growth within the branch and maximize business potential;
  • Strive for high operational productivity, competitive efficiency, and top quality;
  • Ensure maximum productivity at each branch;
  • Adhere to all global processes, policies, standards, and local laws;
  • Develop and expand customer relationships;
  • Standardize processes, structures, and systems according to cluster management decisions;
  • Optimize organizational structures, including internal service providers, shared services, and competence centers;
  • Increase overall productivity through employee training, effective budgeting, eliminating inefficiencies, and capturing growth opportunities, in cooperation with HR;
  • Ensure compliance with instructions, policies, and guidelines from cluster management and group/regional functions;
  • Maintain regular and transparent communication with Cluster Management about important matters.

  • Translate strategy into operational roadmaps, deploying resources efficiently and driving results;
  • Coordinate resources across functions, build networks, and encourage cross-border collaboration;
  • Focus on customer service as a core value, improving operational efficiencies, and maintaining high quality standards;
  • Work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and demonstrate resilience and high energy.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience, preferably as a General Manager or similar in the freight forwarding industry;
  • Experience in people management and leadership;
  • Relevant work experience can compensate for educational qualifications.
