Asset Management and Maintenance Planning:

Prepares maintenance plan of each piece of equipment in the plant using criticality analysis.

Schedules maintenance activities by preparing necessary resources such as spare parts, manning and time to implement the plan and conduct team meeting.

Keeps files of plans and record of equipment history such as work done, materials used, cost, manning and time used, contractors, brochures and other pertinent record for future use.

Prepares technical drawings of equipment parts as reference. Keeps track and files records of unplanned activities and repairs.

Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of maintenance plan such as % PM implementation, quality of work, maintenance hour usage, condition monitoring, and spare parts usage (fast moving, slow moving, insurance & opex).

Generates and analyzes the stoppage ranking report then prioritizes maintenance activity to correct the major contributor on downtime. Initiates tracing of responsibility for major equipment failures.

Generates backlog report then reschedules maintenance work according to priority. Prepares analysis of backlogs. Regularly updates daily and weekly maintenance schedules.

Monitors and analyzes the proper expenditure of utilities to improve yields on fuel, electricity, air, and water. Recommends action plans to the superintendent or supervisor.

Prepares weekly and monthly maintenance reports with analysis and variance explanations.

Monitors and ensures implementation of spare parts management to maintain stocks at optimal levels and manages tools for fast and quality task execution.

Analyzes inventory levels and forecasts needed consumables and tear parts.

Manages fixed manufacturing expenses, particularly repairs, maintenance costs, manpower deployment, capital, and operational expenditures.

Machine Knowledge and Application:

Translates machine design, technical specifications, manuals, and spare parts requirements into PM plan requirements.

Designs machine equipment manuals and troubleshooting guides.

Supports installation and commissioning of machines.

Provides technical training support for maintenance programs.

Analyzes machine problems and applies problem-solving tools to resolve recurring breakdowns.

Formulates corrective actions for complex production problems.

Detects apparent machine irregularities and performs basic troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.

Project Management:

Provides work recommendations and estimates.

Participates in bidding and technical evaluation of equipment.

Executes project plans according to the agreed timeline.

Monitors project status, evaluates contractor services prior to turnover, and ensures cost-effective use of resources.

Implements policies such as Good Manufacturing Practice and other quality systems, and addresses personnel concerns during implementation.

Identifies training needs, conducts in-house training, and recommends external courses when necessary.

Determines appropriate staffing and organizational structure for the department.

Facilitates performance discussions and coaching for employees.
