About the role

Asia Eye Specialist Centre is seeking an experienced staff nurse to join our team at USJ. This full-time role involves providing exceptional patient care at our healthcare facility. As a Staff Nurse, you will deliver high-quality nursing services while adhering to the highest standards of medical practice.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing direct patient care, including administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities
2. Collaborating with the medical team to develop and implement individualized care plans
3. Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate medical records
4. Assisting with patient admission and discharge
5. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment
6. Participating in continuing education and professional development
7. Carrying out simple vision tests and monitoring eye dilation status
8. Assisting ophthalmologists during procedures in the treatment room and operating theatre
9. Gathering equipment needed for patient appointments and ensuring sterilization of used equipment

What we're looking for

• A valid nursing license and registration with the relevant nursing board
• At least 2 years of experience as a Staff Nurse in a healthcare setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
