Job description

We are looking for a creative and passionate Visual Merchandising Manager to join our team, specializing in home furnishings. This role requires a keen eye for design and a deep understanding of how to create inspiring, functional, and aesthetically pleasing displays that resonate with customers. As a Visual Merchandising Manager, you will work closely with the visual merchandising team to bring our brand’s home furnishing collections to life, driving sales and enhancing the customer shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project management: Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines, ensuring timely and quality execution of displays.
  2. Creative vision: Strong eye for detail and design, with the ability to create engaging displays that enhance the customer experience.
  3. Team leadership: Directly manage and coach the VM team, setting direction, deadlines, work delegation, and conducting appraisals.
  4. Lead the graphic design team for the development of artwork for visual merchandising activities.
  5. Enhance the existing Brand guide and VM guide according to current trends and customer demand.
  6. Responsible for window dressing, product display, and presentation of various concept stores.
  7. Ensure VM reflects and strengthens the company's brand image.
  8. Ensure VM aligns with the Brand guide and VM Guide directions.
  9. Participate in photoshoots for A&P and social media.
  10. Involve in new store setup, events/promotions, and seasonal VM activities.
  11. Manage merchandising planning and vendor relationships for the Deco Department.
  12. Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
  1. Strong interest and passion for home furnishings, including furniture, textiles, home decor, and design trends.
  2. Proven experience in visual merchandising, preferably within the home furnishings, furniture, or lifestyle retail sector.
  3. Understanding of design principles and creating visually impactful displays.
  4. Proficient in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
  5. Attention to detail and a creative mindset to bring innovative ideas to life.
  6. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
  7. Ability to analyze sales performance, customer behavior, and display effectiveness.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  9. Willingness to travel to different store locations as required.
