Job summary

A leading company in fine food distribution is seeking a Human Resources and Administration Executive. The role involves managing HR activities such as payroll, staff claims, and performance appraisals. Candidates should possess relevant qualifications and experience, with a focus on confidentiality and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English and Malay is mandatory.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for HR & Admin activities including payroll and employment contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory payments & reporting submissions.
  • Monitor employees’ disciplinary and counseling issues.

Job description

Responsible for HR & Admin activities such as payroll, employment contracts, staff claims, overtime, staff welfare, performance appraisals, training & development, and other office administrative tasks.

Monitor employees’ disciplinary and counseling issues.

Ensure timely compliance with local statutory payments & reporting submissions such as income tax, EPF, SOCSO, and EIS.

Monitor employees' leave, medical claims, etc.

Handle employees’ group insurance matters, including personal accident and hospitalization insurance renewal and claims.

Maintain a good filing system and HR records for easy retrieval.

Assist and support the company in planning and implementing policies aligned with company and group objectives.

Perform other ad-hoc business admin tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or relevant fields.

At least 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience.

Resourceful, trustworthy, and good interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Fluent in English and Malay is mandatory.

Experience in SQL payroll software is an advantage.
