Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Reporting & Analytics

• Facilitating the preparation of periodic reports to support business growth, including initiatives to improve reporting processes, such as:
• Preparing monthly business analysis and reports
• Analyzing key business drivers
• Formulating and preparing annual budgets and periodic projections/forecasts for quarterly strategic meetings
• Supporting adhoc reporting requirements from the business (e.g., rating agencies, management requests)
• Providing financial analysis for new product programs and campaigns in PFS, including financial and accounting implications

Business Support & Advisory

• Assisting in the setup of new business initiatives and preparing financial projections
• Ensuring compliance with Group Finance procedures, accounting policies, and standards
• Monitoring growth in banking, consumer, and financial markets to identify opportunities

Jobholder Requirements

Requirements

• Malaysian citizen

Education/Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a quantitative discipline (e.g., Engineering, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics)
• Preferably with ACCA/CPA or relevant professional qualifications (e.g., FRM, PRMIA, CFA)

Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience; experience in banking, finance, or insurance industries is a plus
• Experience in accounting, tax, or audit departments within large firms is advantageous
• Knowledge of consumer banking products, regulations, and accounting standards is a plus
