Our client, a leading ASIAN-based Engineering group in Nilai, specializing in engineered manufacturing products and services in full compliance with global engineering standards, is urgently hiring a SALES / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (HUNTER) (Specializing in Digital Signage & EV).
Job Summary:
The Sales / Business Development (Hunter) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities and generating sales leads within a specific market or industry. This role focuses on aggressively pursuing new clients, building relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities by targeting potential clients through cold calls, networking, events, and online channels.
- Lead Generation: Generate new sales leads and create a pipeline of potential clients through research and outreach.
- Client Acquisition: Convert prospects into clients by presenting products and services effectively and addressing their needs.
- Sales Presentations & Negotiation: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to decision-makers, negotiate terms, and close deals.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with new clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Market Research: Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prospects, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and account management teams to align strategies and support the full sales cycle.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, particularly in new business acquisition.
- Mandarin-speaking candidates are a priority due to business nature.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and drive results.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Knowledge of the local market and industries is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in specific industries (e.g., Engineering, Signage, Finance) is advantageous.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified in engineering or related fields.
- Young, eager, and hungry for sales, with continuous hard work in developing new business.
- Male or female.
- Willing to travel overseas regularly — excellent benefits await the energetic.
- Foreign languages such as Spanish and Portuguese are an advantage.
- Pleasant personality, good command of English, and good interpersonal skills.
- Able to start within a short period.
Incentives: Sales commission expected to be 30-50% of basic salary per annum.
