Job description

Chargeman A4 (Kamunting Laundry Incinerator Plant)

• Inspect, monitor, read, and record Engineering Operation Data (EOD) parameters for the power consumption of each Main Switch Board (MSB) and Sub-Main Switch Board (SMSB) as per log sheet requirements for the entire site. Inform superiors of any abnormal system conditions. Record all electrical inspection data in the daily logbook to meet the requirements of visiting electrical engineers.
• Carry out assigned tasks according to Reliability Centred Maintenance (Unscheduled / Scheduled / Condition Based Maintenance) and the Sustainability Program, especially on assets or facility systems requiring expertise. Perform testing and commissioning activities.
• Operate or initiate operations of electrical equipment and systems such as Electrical Sub-Stations, Panels, and generator sets.
• Request procurement of goods in accordance with Service Work (SW) / Service Request (SR) requirements, monitor vendor work progress, and verify invoices for payment processing.
• Ensure the generator is operational by conducting regular test runs and maintaining sufficient diesel capacity.
• Maintain efficient records, communication, and documentation related to regulatory requirements. Ensure data and records pertaining to electrical operations are properly documented and updated to support an efficient electrical system.
• Assist and provide technical feedback on maintenance work requiring vendor expertise to superiors and monitor the work performed.

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• At least 4-6 years of relevant work experience
