Staff Engineer - MES Solution Developer / MES Deployment (Manager level)

Plan, support, customize, and further develop the Manufacturing Executive System (MES) application.

Responsible for commissioning and technical implementation of process solutions in MES, collaborating with our template team and the supplier Critical Manufacturing.

Describe requirements and track progress with our supplier.

Manage and support the installation of the MES application on container infrastructure.

Streamline, configure, and customize MES processes, including creating suitable master data.

Manage creation, execution, and approval of acceptance tests, as well as monitor and support technical implementations during ramp-up.

Prepare, present, and explain new process concepts to users and management.

Support evaluation and selection of system suppliers, focusing on future-oriented digital system development.

Conduct risk-based analysis and evaluation of existing business and production processes.

Act as 2nd support for template functions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• At least 10 years of experience in MES development or leading MES deployment
• Experience in configuration, coding, customized solutions, and source code management
• Exposure to front-end (MES), back-end (MES, MDM source coding)
• Experience with Siemens-related software
• Familiarity with functional specifications and features
