About the role

Celestica, a leading global manufacturing services company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer Analog E&E Design to join our team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. This full-time position is a crucial role within our Electrical/Electronic Engineering division, contributing to the strategic goals and ongoing success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

Design, develop and test analog and mixed-signal electronic circuits and systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of complex electronic systems

Perform simulations, prototyping, and validation testing to validate design performance

Document and communicate design progress and findings to stakeholders

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation

What we're looking for

Minimum 8 years of experience in analog and mixed-signal electronic design

Electrical & Electronic: Schematic & PCB CAD Design (OrCAD, Cadence Concept/Allegro, Altium Designer); Digital Design (Microprocessor, FPGA, DSP); Analog Design (Power Supply, Signal Conditioning, RF/Wireless, Power Electronic); System Architecture; Derating; Design for EMC/EMI; IEC 60601 (medical device safety); High Speed Signal/Power Integrity; PID Control System (bonus).

Strong background in circuit design, simulation, and testing for analog and mixed-signal systems

Proficient in the use of electronic design automation (EDA) tools such as Altium, Cadence, or SPICE

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Thorough understanding of electronic components, PCB design, and manufacturing processes

Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electronic product design and certification

Excellent communication and documentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
