Job description

1. Ascertainment and acquisition of new hospital clients, besides existing relationships, for the sale of O&G, Urological, and General Surgery instruments.

2. Identifying potential customers.

3. Developing short-term and long-term plans.

4. Formulating strategies for the business.

5. Preparing monthly sales reports for the Managing Director and COO.

6. Analyzing current market activities, trends, and competitors’ strategies, including sales projections.

7. Demonstrating active listening, analytical and critical thinking, communication, delegation, decision-making, leadership, motivational, organizational, and crisis management skills.

8. Recruiting and developing the sales team and division.

9. Supervising team workload, skills, progress, and organizing teams regionally or by hospital groups.

10. Conducting weekly sales meetings and updating the COO.

11. Preparing the annual budget for the Sales Division.

12. Conducting annual staff appraisals with the COO.

13. Providing guidance and training to new team members.

14. Ensuring all calls from superiors and the Managing Director are attended to.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related discipline with managerial responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree is a plus.
  • Ability to independently lead the Sales Division.
  • Technical and product knowledge of relevant sales equipment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel locally and abroad for industry congresses, training, and exhibitions.
  • Ambition to grow professionally and with the company.

SALARY: RM12,000 – RM15,000
