Job Description
- Identify and deliver new or existing markets in alignment with the business strategy to grow the business, ensuring feasibility and successful delivery of products or services.
- Maintain consistent contact and provide sales and marketing support within the designated region.
- Coordinate and support tender preparation and submission.
- Prepare sales reports.
- Assist in marketing efforts within the specified region.
- Handle all incoming correspondence related to sales and marketing.
- Make regular sales calls on major customers within the region.
- Attend trade shows as required to benefit the business.
- Assist the Sales/Marketing Manager in identifying new business opportunities.
- Identify new service trends needed by clients.
- Analyze market segments.
- Educate the sales team to convey company objectives and develop sales programs.
- Develop effective presentations to raise awareness of market conditions, trends, and client needs.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with clients and recognized industry health and safety regulations.
- Maintain close contact with SGS affiliates on transnational operations.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement of Health & Safety and Environmental (HSE) performance, adhering to applicable Quality Management System standards.
- Uphold SGS HSE Policy by practicing good safety behavior and following necessary standards and processes to ensure compliance.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by your manager or senior management.
Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or Science with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience with a proven track record.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with good business acumen and adaptability to a dynamic environment.
- Extensive experience in developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
