A leading FMCG company is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Director to join their dynamic team in the Klang Valley area. As part of their ongoing expansion, they are seeking a talented Supply Chain Director to help drive their success to new heights.
Job Description
- Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with key stakeholders to align supply chain strategies with business goals, support execution of priorities, and manage forecasting, inventory, and replenishment to ensure efficient logistics and high customer service.
- S&OP Process: Lead the Sales & Operations Planning process to ensure alignment between finance, sales, and supply chain, optimizing inventory levels and product availability for competitive advantage.
- Data, Quality, and Compliance: Oversee product, vendor, and customer master data management in SAP, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance product and process quality in line with sanitary authority requirements.
- Warehouse, Distribution, and Customer Management: Manage warehouse and logistics operations for timely, cost-effective material flow and lead efforts to improve customer order management and end-to-end supply chain relationships.
- Leadership and Regional Synergies: Drive organizational improvements, lead and develop the team, and support regional collaboration by sharing best practices and managing global customer requests to optimize procurement and cost-saving initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Economics; MBA or Master's in related fields is a plus. 8-10 years of experience in supply chain, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
- Industry Knowledge: Preferably experienced in FMCG industries and knowledgeable in Demand & Supply Planning, Procurement, Logistics Operations, and other supply chain areas.
- Third-Party Logistics Management: Experience managing third-party logistics providers is preferred.
- Skills & Competencies: Strong presentation skills, excellent written and spoken English, self-motivated, accountable, and able to work under pressure in a flexible environment.
- Adaptability & Ownership: Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and high adaptability to changing environments and business requirements.
