- Handle assigned NPI project to meet project objectives, customer expectations, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Establish reliability test program to ensure product life meets customer requirements. Plan and perform product verification and validation tests for new projects, alternative sources, or changes applicable to the products.
- Follow up on issues during trial runs to ensure new products are designed for manufacturing.
- Work with QC Engineer by transferring the methodology of NPI testing and failure history into IPQC/OQA test procedures.
- Periodically learn about test methodologies employed through laboratories, competitors, international specifications, and regulations, and incorporate them into test plans.
- Prepare required documents as per Quality Management System, customer-specific, and regulatory requirements throughout NPI stages.
Requirements
- Minimum diploma or certificate in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance for New Product Introduction, Reliability, Safety, and EMI testing fields.
- Experience in studying product specifications and applicable test standards to establish product test plans, specifications, and inspection procedures.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
- Proficiency with QC 7 tools, MSA, FMEA, control plans, and SPC tools.
- Good understanding of semiconductor and plastic component behaviors.
