The Tax Analyst position entails handling tax-related tasks in an industrial/manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations, and preparing tax returns.

Description

Prepare Goods and Services Tax (GST) reports

Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation

Compile tax information for income tax return preparation

Prepare income tax estimations

Support compliance processes for interim and final audits conducted by external auditors

Liaise with tax authorities and tax agents

Provide guidance on withholding tax implications for payments to non-residents

Prepare deferred tax computations

Prepare provisional income tax payable

Prepare tax reports for group reporting purposes

Assist with ad-hoc tasks as required

Profile

A successful candidate should have:

  • An educational background in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 2 years of experience in tax
  • Knowledge of tax software and MS Office
  • Up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and laws
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Good analytical and strategic thinking skills
