We are seeking a qualified Account & Tax Executive to join DMC Consulting Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Johor. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement and a competitive salary of up to MYR 5,000.

Minimum Qualifications
  1. Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Degree, or Advanced Degree.
  2. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is optional.
  3. Positive attitude with a passion for collaborative teamwork and strong interpersonal skills.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Adaptable to change, capable of pivoting and finding alternative solutions, with demonstrated ability to meet new challenges.
  6. Good problem-solving skills and ability to navigate unexpected situations.
  7. Critical thinker with the ability to bring fresh perspectives and offer intuitive solutions.

  10. Strong knowledge of applicable system automation and business solution software.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Closing of accounts, preparation of management accounts, and financial statements for clients.
  2. Preparation and generation of accounting reports and schedules for audits.
  3. Preparation of GST returns and ensuring correct GST treatment for transactions.
  4. Preparation of simplified/full XBRL reports.
  5. Preparation of tax returns for clients’ entities.
  6. Assist clients with tax issues and act as a point of contact for tax-related queries for both personal and corporate income tax.
  7. Handle tax compliance issues and computations for individuals and corporations.
  8. Prepare monthly CPF submissions and manage CorpPass-related issues for clients.
  9. Maintain good client engagement, provide prompt responses, and keep clients informed of progress.
  10. Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superiors.
