We work with Global IT Senior Management worldwide, delivering IT PMO support for PMI leads. Our team ensures consistent and effective IT operations through the management of IT standards, governance, frameworks, documentation, and internal control systems

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT PMO Business Analyst with a strong emphasis on business analysis techniques and demonstrable experience in governance, particularly in the development and documentation of policies, guidelines, processes, and templates. This role will be crucial in ensuring the PMO operates efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with organizational standards. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and PMO practices, leveraging their analytical and governance expertise to drive clarity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Governance Framework Development:
  • Lead the development, documentation, and maintenance of PMO governance frameworks, including policies, guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and project management templates.
  • Business Analysis and Requirements Elicitation:
  • Facilitate workshops, conduct interviews, and employ various business analysis techniques to elicit, analyze, and clearly document business needs and translate them into precise and actionable requirements for PMO processes and tools.
  • Policy and Procedure Authoring:
  • Author clear, concise, and comprehensive policies, guidelines, and process documentation that are easily understood and implemented by PMO stakeholders.
  • Template Design and Management:
  • Design, develop, and maintain standardized project management templates (e.g., project charters, risk logs, communication plans) to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.
  • Process Analysis and Optimization:
  • Analyze existing PMO processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement, recommending and implementing solutions to enhance effectiveness and compliance.
  • Data-Driven Governance:
  • Analyze project and PMO data to identify trends, assess compliance with governance frameworks, and recommend data-driven improvements to policies and processes.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Management:
  • Maintain a well-organized repository of PMO policies, guidelines, processes, templates, and other relevant documentation, contributing to the PMO's knowledge base and facilitating knowledge sharing.
  • Support Business Case Development (Governance Perspective):
  • Contribute to the development of business cases by ensuring alignment with governance frameworks and highlighting the impact of proposed projects on PMO processes and compliance.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • - Possess a bachelor’s degree from a reputed institute.
  • Demonstrable experience in business analysis methodologies and techniques (e.g., UML, process modeling, requirements traceability).
  • Proven ability to author clear, concise, and effective policies, guidelines, processes, and templates.
  • Strong understanding of governance principles and their application within a PMO environment.
  • Excellent English communication (written and oral) and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex governance concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethics, self-motivated, and able to manage and perform with minimal supervision.
