Job Description
- Assist and conduct simple field-testing jobs that do not require a competency certificate.
- Support Engineers and Engineering Inspectors during field testing activities.
- Understand all related scope pertaining to field testing jobs.
- Follow correct procedures and methods for testing based on the scope.
- React promptly when facing problems on site.
- Prepare and arrange testing equipment before job execution.
- Conduct detailed testing and inspection of steel & concrete structures (both field and laboratory) to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist Safety and Health Committee members in organizing and implementing safety and health programs, safety campaigns, and related activities.
- Carry out any other instructions from the employer or person in charge related to the scope of work.
- Adhere to the applicable Quality Management System, exercising necessary standards and processes to ensure compliance with ISO 17020, MIBAS policy, ISO 17065, ACB policy, ISO 17025, and SAMM policy where applicable.
- Follow SGS Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies by maintaining good safety behavior and exercising necessary standards to ensure HSE compliance.
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by immediate superiors or department managers.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering or relevant qualification.
- No experience needed; training will be provided.
