Job summary

A leading company in Selangor is seeking an Accounts and Administration Executive to manage financial accounts, prepare reports, and support administrative tasks. Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of working experience, preferably in development/construction.

Job description

To prepare full set accounts, monthly management accounts, financial year-end accounts, E-invoicing, and generate relevant reports, including performing month-end closing, bank, debtors, and inter-company reconciliation in a timely manner.

To handle overall accounting/finance administrative work in support of other departments, which includes collection and payment.

To ensure the timely submission of tax returns, tax estimation, and audited reports of the Group of Companies, including liaising, attending, and providing support to external auditors (if required).

Handle filing of all accounting and general office administration documents, ensuring proper filing, maintenance, documentation, and updates according to the Group's filing system.

Handle general office administrative work, providing assistance to management/directors, and supporting ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management or other departments.

Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Higher Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accountancy/ACCA or equivalent.
  • Good working knowledge with proficiency in major Microsoft Windows, Office, and familiarity with SQL and SAGE UBS accounting software.
  • Fluent in spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English (to liaise with associates and authorities).
  • At least 6 years of working experience, preferably in the development/construction industry. Other relevant industries are also applicable.
  • Committed, analytical, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, meticulous, able to work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Own transport and willingness to travel are required.
