Flex Fleet Sdn Bhd is a Kuala Lumpur-based manager of offshore “FLEX” crewboats that are designed and built by Penguin Shipyard International in Singapore.

Our crewboats are well-maintained and professionally manned. We prize safety over profit, and we regard our employees as our key asset.

The business of operating a fleet of high-performance vessels requires a dedicated team of ship management professionals with specialized skill sets.

We are seeking suitable candidates to join us in the following vocation:

EXECUTIVE, ACCOUNTS

Reporting to the Accountant, you shall be an integral member of Flex Fleet’s ship management team in Kuala Lumpur, which manages a fleet of modern high-speed crew boats. Your key responsibilities shall include:

1. Reports directly to the Accountant and GM on matters of finance and accounts.
2. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly financial, management, and cash flow reports.
3. Able to handle Accounts Payable closing and Bank Reconciliation.
4. Provide monthly analysis and interpretation of financial results and performance.
5. Develop and implement internal financial controls and policies/procedures.
6. Liaise with external auditors, company secretaries, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities.
7. Contribute to and participate in all HSE matters in line with the Company's HSE policy.

Requirement:

1. Candidates should possess at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
2. At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance department.
3. Experience with WORKDAY is an additional advantage.
4. Proficiency in English (spoken and written), effective communication skills, and proficiency in relevant Microsoft Office programs.
5. A proactive "can-do" attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team, demonstrating integrity in a fast-paced environment are essential.
6. Resourcefulness, self-motivation, proactivity, and independence are valued traits.
7. Strong professional ethics and a sense of responsibility are required attributes.
