Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Manager, Marketing (Malaysia).

What are their Job Responsibilities:

  • Create, develop and implement comprehensive brand marketing plans/strategies that align with the Company's objectives, focusing on product positioning, market segments, pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Strategize, plan and implement marketing campaigns/ideas across various channels with the team while managing budget and expenses, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and target audience engagement.
  • Forecast, monitor, control and allocate A&P budget to ensure effective and efficient management and utilization of the approved budget to support the brand/product’s ROI.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing activities and brand performance, adjusting strategies based on performance metrics and consumer feedback.
  • Work closely with CMI and Innovation team to identify opportunities for NPD and enhancements to existing products, as well to ensure alignment and successful execution of new product launch initiatives.
  • Lead and guide the team on day-to-day activities to ensure successful execution of tactical promotion, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Manage and work with third party vendors to effectively execute marketing activities, ensuring consistency in brand communication.

What are the qualifications needed for the role:

  • At least 10 years of experience in marketing roles within the FMCG sector, with a proven track record of successful brand management. Experience in leading marketing campaigns, product launches, and managing a brand across various channels.
  • Ability to communicate, influence and network with key stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external.
  • Knowledge of current marketing trends and best practices in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in leading and managing a team, demonstrating the ability to mentor, motivate, and drive a team towards achieving marketing objectives.
