About the role

Dahtec Marketing Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced QAQC Engineer to join our dynamic team in Banting, Selangor. As a QAQC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our construction projects, contributing to the overall success of the company. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.

What you'll be doing

Quality Control & Assurance: -

*Develop, implement and maintain QAQC procedures and standards for scaffolding products.

*Inspect raw materials, semi finish and finished good scaffold products to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

*Conduct regular inspections of manufacturing processes and identify areas of improvement for product quality.

*Ensure all scaffolding products meet industry standards.

*Confers with customer representative to resolve complaints

*Notify suppliers of reasons for rejection of materials and part received.

Testing & Inspection: -

*Perform material testing (e.g., tensile, load bearing) and inspect welds, joints and overall scaffold assembly for structural integrity.

*Review and verify the accuracy of test reports, inspection data and certification documents.

*Coordinate third party testing and certification as needed for scaffolding products.

Documentation & Reporting: -

*Maintain accurate records of inspections, test and any corrective action taken.

*Prepare and present quality assurance reports to management, highlighting areas of concern, improvements and status on quality related issues.

* Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled and completed.

*Ensure that all documents related to ISO are in order.

*Audit and assess suppliers and vendors of raw materials, ensuring that they meet the required quality standards.

*Work with the procurement department to ensure the quality of incoming materials.

*Investigate customer complaints or non-conformance reports related to scaffolding products and implement corrective actions.

*Promote a culture of continuous improvement in product design, manufacturing processes and overall quality management.

Compliance & Safety: -

*Ensure all scaffolding manufacturing processes comply with local and international regulations and safety standards.

*Conduct safety audits and enforce quality standards to minimize risks during production.

*Carry out internal audit, Quality, Environment, Safety and Health.

Training & Development: -

*Provide quality assurance and control training to production staff to enhance their understanding of quality standards and processes.

*Keep up to date with industry developments, codes and new quality control techniques.

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quality control, Construction Management, or a related field

Minimum 4 years of experience as a QAQC Engineer in manufacturing preferably in scaffolding, construction or related industries.

Strong understanding of construction materials, techniques, and industry standards

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest quality standards
