Job description

. Mandarin speaker is an added advantage.

. Able to handle full sets of accounts.

. Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and yearly group reporting.

. Prepare audit and tax schedules for annual filings.

. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.

. Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports or statements.

. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.

. Participate in setting financial standards and in the forecasting process.

. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.

. Ensure accounting records and systems comply with company policies, approved standards, and statutory requirements.

. Identify, report, and resolve operational issues, discrepancies, and abnormal transactions related to accounting.

. Assist the finance team in achieving operational excellence.

. Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.

. Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.

. Ensure timely submission of tax filings and statutory reports.

. Be meticulous, detail-oriented, and possess good interpersonal skills.

. Knowledge of e-invoicing is an advantage.

Requirement:

. Age between 25 - 40.

. Bachelor's degree in Accounting recognized by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

. Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or similar.

. Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and/or auditing.

. In-depth knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations, local tax laws, MFRS, and corporate governance.
