Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Performing or assisting in audits for small to large companies across various industries.
• Preparing and presenting financial statements, ensuring compliance with the disclosure requirements of the Companies Act and applicable approved accounting standards in Malaysia.
• Liaising with clients and highlighting weaknesses related to accounting or other areas.
• Attending periodic stock takes and statutory audits as required.
• Identifying, developing, and documenting audit issues and recommendations to improve controls and procedures.
• Liaising with clients and relevant authorities.

Requirements

• Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Finance or Accountancy, or currently pursuing a professional course.
• Able to work independently with integrity.
• Capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Willing to learn and adapt.
• Computer literate.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage for Chinese-speaking clients.
• Training will be provided, with or without experience.
