Job description

To assist the Senior Development Manager in planning, monitoring, and managing all project planning and authority matters, including daily administrative tasks.

Assist with potential new land studies, including authority requirements, land searches, market studies, data analysis, site visits, and site condition assessments.

Coordinate and follow up with inter-departments, project consultants, local councils, and relevant authorities to ensure timely submission of applications related to rezoning, KM, BP, infrastructure plans, pre-construction, utilities, land conversion, land extension, subdivision, strata titles, and other authority matters.

Review and monitor all planning and authority submission drawings, reports, and supporting documents to ensure compliance and adequacy for submission, including handling design changes, amendments, and appeals.

Manage authority payment processes with internal departments and external parties to ensure smooth submission and approval.

Attend pre-consultation meetings, discussions, inspections with local councils and relevant authorities.

Follow up with local councils and authorities to ensure timely approval of licenses, permits, and clearance letters.

Prepare project authority progress reports and update daily work logs.

Administer all correspondence and maintain project filing systems.

Perform any other duties and ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Town Planning, Architecture, or related fields with at least 5 years of experience in the property development industry.
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements, guidelines, policies, submission processes, land matters, and the National Land Code.
  • Basic project management skills and knowledge.
  • Good relationships with government agencies and local authorities.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
  • Ability to provide timely reports and updates.
  • Willing to travel and possess own transportation.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
