A leading company in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Development Manager to enhance sales performance and mentor team members. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, with a proven track record in sales. This role involves monitoring sales activities, organizing events, and providing feedback to improve strategies. · Maintain strong rapport with sales leaders and inter-department teams to ensure smooth implementations and the achievement of action plans.
· Identify emerging leaders and assist their growth through monitoring, coaching, and encouragement.
· Closely monitor sales performance, conduct analysis on sales activity effectiveness versus targets on a monthly basis, and propose recommendations for improvement where necessary.
· Organise sales organisation events, including kick-off meetings, recognition events, and annual conferences.
· Lead and organise sales incentive trips, getaways, and sales challenges.
· Coach, guide, and mentor team members to replicate successful practices with sales agents to achieve sales targets and improve rankings.
· Provide timely and accurate feedback on sales leaders, agents, industry trends, and competitive situations to the team leader.
· Monitor the results of promotional campaigns and share best practices among the Sales Management Team.
· Communicate important feedback from team members and sales agents (internal & external).
· Assist in operational matters related to the assigned portfolio.
· Perform other duties or ad hoc projects as assigned or needed.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Management, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
· Proven track record in direct sales or multi-level marketing.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Self-starter and results-oriented.
· Willing to take on challenges and maintain a can-do attitude.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
