Job description

Taking cue from immediate superior – QEL’s direction, market, and promote QEL’s range of agency shipping services accordingly;

Prospect and cultivate new sales leads to establish business.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers.

Provide quotes for current and prospective customers utilizing analytical and logistic planning.

Assess customer needs and problems while communicating and implementing logistics solutions.

Maintain regular dialogue with the commercial team regarding current market situations and trade dynamics related to the principal’s tradelane(s).

Job Requirements :

Fresh graduates or possess minimum 1 year of work experience – preferably in sales/marketing within the service industry.

Preferably a Diploma / Degree holder – majoring in Logistics, International Business, Marketing, or Economics.

Industry knowledge of both international and local Malaysian shipping practices is an advantage.

Proficiency in Mandarin & English is preferred, as the role requires dealing with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Possess own transport.
