Senior Manager/Manager Business Development (Land & Research Strategy)

  1. Define and implement operational standards and procedures to optimize investment costs, store interiors, facilities, and layouts for new and existing stores.
  2. Take ownership of the financial performance and operational efficiency of store development projects.
  3. Use advanced catchment analysis and analogues approaches to identify optimal locations aligned with the company’s business model.
  4. Develop and execute strategic plans for store network expansion, focusing on locations that maximize growth and profitability.
Data Collection and Analysis:
  1. Collect, analyze, and interpret data on competitors, infrastructure, demographics, and SWOT factors to evaluate and recommend the best sites for store development.
  2. Assess the potential impact of new site proposals on existing operations and overall business performance.
Customer and Market Insights:
  1. Analyze customer behavior and ensure properties meet evolving needs.
  2. Provide actionable insights into property initiatives that align with future business strategies.
Competitive Intelligence and Strategy:
  1. Share key insights and make data accessible to support strategies that protect market position.
  2. Monitor competitors, economic trends, and other factors to identify new growth opportunities.
Risk Management:
  1. Identify potential risks impacting business performance and implement proactive mitigation measures.
Lease Negotiations and Property Evaluation:
  1. Lead negotiations on store size, location, and lease terms for optimal outcomes.
  2. Evaluate properties through trade area surveys and develop profitability plans for investments.
Performance and Trading Insights:
  1. Provide data-driven insights to inform development strategies and enhance store performance.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
