CBRE is excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for an Operations Director in Facilities Management, partnering with a leading financial institution based in Taiwan. In this transformative role, you will lead the operational excellence of the client’s facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and innovative workplace that supports their dynamic business environment.

A typical day may involve:

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for facilities management that aligns with the client’s overarching business objectives.
  • Provide national leadership across all facilities operations, including maintenance, vendor management, and workplace experience.
  • Act as the trusted advisor to the client, ensuring seamless communication and alignment between CBRE and client stakeholders.
  • Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Inspire and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee landlord and tenant relationships, proactively addressing issues to enhance long-term portfolio performance.
  • Identify and implement initiatives for operational improvements and service delivery excellence across facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards across all sites.
  • Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation and standards.
  • Develop and maintain robust business continuity plans, identifying operational risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across all facilities operations and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to advance sustainability initiatives and drive measurable environmental improvements.
  • Oversee accurate reporting on financial and operational metrics, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage third-party vendor performance, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and ethical standards.
  • Lead crisis management protocols, supporting safety and communication during critical incidents.

Requirements:

  • Professional qualification with 10+ years of experience in facilities management or related fields.
  • Proven leadership experience in facilities operations, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a successful track record in managing budgets and delivering exceptional value.
  • In-depth knowledge of facilities management practices, regulatory compliance, and market trends.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to relocate to Taiwan.
