Qualifications

• Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung im Einkauf, davon 3 Jahre in leitenden Positionen.
• Kenntnisse in Einkaufstechniken und Bestandsanalyse.

Responsibilities

• Verhandlungen mit Lieferanten zur Kostensenkung und Qualitätssicherung.
• Durchführung von Risikoanalysen zur Sicherstellung der Lieferkette.

Negotiate prices with approved vendors to obtain high-quality, lowest possible cost materials that meet Hershey’s requirements and specifications, with a main focus on Malaysia operations.

Evaluate alternative suppliers as required to maintain competitive pricing.

Lead cost-saving project generation and implementation in relevant materials to improve product competitiveness. Track and deliver on cost-saving objectives.

Support innovation in product development. Assist internal customers to identify requirements and specifications, and provide support during development to ensure product availability.

Manage, assess, and evaluate suppliers, providing periodic supplier performance reports. Maintain good business relationships with suppliers in accordance with Hershey's core values.

Conduct periodic risk assessments to prevent supply security issues and price increases.

Maintain good supplier relationships through clear, direct, and timely communication and feedback.

Use SAP, ERP, BW, PCM, and other Hershey-provided tools to determine standard costs, maintain and validate purchase information and source lists. Evaluate and analyze Purchase Price Variance. Update purchasing records and reports.

Ensure all purchases comply with Hershey's Global Procurement Policy, proper documentation, processes, and system requirements. Uphold Hershey’s Code of Ethical Business Conduct.

Requirements:

• Degree in Procurement / Supply Chain
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive business experience, including 3+ years in broad and deep procurement roles
• Knowledge of purchasing principles, techniques, and inventory analysis and control
• Experience in conducting RFQ/RFP bidding exercises and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in computer systems and adaptability to new systems
• Contract management abilities
• Strong sourcing skills and expertise
• Knowledge of raw ingredient sourcing
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Financial and business acumen
• Ability to collaborate across departments, seek common ground, and align on goals
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic environment
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia and internationally as needed (20%)
