Requirements
Job Purpose
To support the Marketing Manager, BU1, in planning and implementing effective township and product marketing and sales plans. Ensure the timely execution of all new launches as per the budget plan for townships under Business Unit 1, including Denai Alam, Bukit Jelutong, Elmina East, Elmina West, and Elmina Business Park.
Job Responsibilities
Drive Financial Returns for Business Unit 1
- Assist the Marketing Manager in formulating marketing and sales strategies to meet revenue, sales, and profit targets for the financial year, aligned with the budget plan.
- Assist in developing and monitoring marketing programs and ensure the timely execution of plans for new launches, existing launches, and completed products.
- Monitor the utilization of A&P expenses and advertising effectiveness to ensure alignment with the budget.
Increase Brand Engagement and Value for Townships in Business Unit 1
- Propose, support, and monitor the execution of brand campaigns for township BU1.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events to enhance brand value and engagement for the townships in BU1.
- Ensure ROI targets for brand campaigns and events are met.
- Actively monitor and improve social media presence for the townships and products.
Improve Product Marketability
- Enhance product marketability and profitability by researching and proposing ideas to leverage market opportunities and trends.
- Conduct competitor analysis regularly through ground and desktop research.
- Monitor competitors' sales packages and marketing campaigns, and propose strategies to differentiate from them.
Agency and Stakeholder Management
- Participate in Client Consultant Meetings (CCM) to ensure market-driven product creation.
- Prepare and present briefings to advertising, media, and event agencies to ensure effective A&P initiatives.
- Collaborate with advertising agencies, media agencies, and media owners on job briefs and production.
- Ensure compliance with SDP Brand Guidelines, Ministry of Housing regulations, and obtain all necessary approvals.
- Monitor activities and update product/campaign information across all offline and online channels, including websites, micro sites, and online booking systems.
People Engagement
- Build and maintain good relationships with local authorities, supply chain partners, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Supervise and guide junior team members to achieve company goals.
Education and Professional Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
