Technician/Senior Technician, Reliability laboratory

The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

• Responsible for reliability daily operation which include Calla support, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) simulation test (HBM, MM CDM), Auto Visual Inspection (AVI), Mechanical dimension, Thermal characterization and Electrical and optical measurement based on standard test procedure.
• Perform daily process performance monitoring, reliability failure verification during operation, data and results analysis and update of test status.
• Perform installation, set up and commissioning for reliability equipment to support new product REL testing. To carry out chamber verification activities prior release reliability equipment for operation.
• To involve in the operation and safety of the laboratory and ensure all activities are carried out according to safety manual procedures that comply with standard.
• Involvement in continuous improvement of Reliability processes (Measurement Visual Inspection) to support new product and reliability techniques and applications.
• Involvement in laboratory sustaining activities (ISO/IEC 17025).

• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering, science principles or equivalent.
• At least with 3 years working experience in laboratory operation environment.
• Experience in laboratories accreditation MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
• Knowledge and experience in set-up new program for Auto Visual Inspection (AVI) Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) test.
• Experience in SAP system and handling Reliability test equipment would be an added advantage.
• Highly organized, self-driven way of working Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of employees.
• Able to work under minimum supervision.
