About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Finance Executive to join our team at an established packaging company located in Kampung Subang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting the financial operations and reporting for our thriving organisation.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist the Finance Manager in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
2. Perform detailed account reconciliations and analysis to ensure accuracy of financial records.
3. Support the month-end close process and prepare necessary journal entries.
4. Contribute to the development and maintenance of financial policies, procedures, and controls.
5. Liaise with internal departments to gather financial data and provide timely reporting.
6. Support the Finance Manager in managing external audits and responding to queries.
7. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to the management team as needed.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the Accounting industry.
2. Strong understanding of Financial Accounting & Reporting principles and procedures.
3. Proficient in the use of financial accounting software and MS Office applications.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.
7. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
