Job description

Serve as the internal expert on environmental (ROHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, Prop 65, TSCA, PFAS, PVC, etc) regulation

Interpret environmental regulations to support and provide solution for compliance needs

Generate product environmental compliance documentation (industry reporting template, declaration, certification or etc)

Collect, review, and analyse product compliance data

Continuously monitor global environmental changes and provide insights to internal and external stakeholders

Give advice on industry-specific compliance needs to internal and external stakeholders

Provide support and training for internal teams regarding the regulations and compliance requirements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and update internal processes, policies, and procedures

Performs any statutory, regulatory, environmental or HAZMAT scrubs on Bill of Materials (BOM) or its related

Any other task as assigned

Knowledge and Skills

Understanding of chemical substances regulations and their application in various industries

Stay updated on new and changing environmental regulations

Demonstrate technical expertise on environmental product compliance and best practices

Lead, guide, demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Suggest and implement enhancements for process improvement, efficiency, and accuracy

Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all levels of people

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

A self-driver

Education and Experience

Degree in Engineering or related field

10+ years of experience in environmental (ROHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, Prop 65, TSCA, PFAS, PVC, etc) compliance role

In-depth understanding and knowledge of environmental regulations

Proficiency in generating compliance documentation (industry reporting template, declaration, certification or etc)

Experience working with compliance software and tools (Assent, BOMcheck, etc)

Well verse with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc)
