Your main tasks and responsibilities:
This position is responsible for developing and penetrating the bio-based market according to company core business & directions, growing a solid technical understanding, and maturing sales skills about advantages and benefits derived from Sulzer core technologies, while committing to the budget.
Develop potential markets and opportunities for bio-based products, familiar with process package sales skills.
Secure & achieve defined budgets.
Maintain existing customer relationships and keep activity in related markets.
Drive and coordinate projects with global Sales, Technology & Projects teams, such as liquid-liquid extraction and distillation teams in Singapore & Switzerland.
Attend technical presentations and clarification meetings; negotiate technical appendices; handle commercial bidding and order negotiations.
Lead commercial strategy for PP projects and be in charge of signing contracts.
Prepare for internal and external handover/kick-off meetings.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager and team members.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Qualification in Bachelor Subject: Chemical Engineering/Biochemical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Sales Engineer and/or in Marketing in Chemicals & Special Chemicals, exposure to bio-based products is preferred.
Experience with chemical process design, especially within Bio-Based sectors (Bio-Ethanol, Oleo, new bio routes like PHA, PEF, etc.), and market development experience will be highly preferred.
