Job Description: Human Resources Manager - Malaysia Factory

Company: : Venus Ceramics (acquired by Dajiaolu), located in Kluang, Johor, Malaysia

About Us

Dajiaolu Marble & Ceramic Tile Co., Ltd. is a leading Chinese enterprise specializing in R&D, design, production, and global distribution of ultra-wear-resistant marble tiles. Established in 2012, we operate six production bases in South China and export to over 60 countries. Our Malaysia subsidiary, Venus Ceramics, spans 40 acres with nearly 400 employees, driving innovation with 15 patents.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Organizational Development:
  • Optimize factory organizational structure, define roles, and manage staffing plans.
  • Lead HR team development and departmental operations.
  1. Talent Management:
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, promotion, retention, and employee incentives.
  • Develop strategies for talent pipeline building and workforce empowerment.
  1. HR Operations:
  • Manage HRIS (Human Resources Information System), employee relations, records, payroll, and compliance with local labor laws.
  • Ensure adherence to regulations on contracts, salaries, benefits, insurance, and training.
  1. Strategic Execution:
  • Execute critical projects assigned by leadership, particularly supporting the Malaysia factory’s setup and expansion.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (any discipline); full-time education required.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, including 2+ years as an HR Manager in a manufacturing or R&D-production-sales integrated enterprise.
  • Prior experience in establishing overseas factories for Chinese private enterprises (preferred).
  • Familiarity with HR modules (recruitment, C&B, performance management, etc.) and labor laws.

2. Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong English proficiency (verbal/written); Mandarin is a plus.
  • Leadership: Ability to manage teams, drive results, and foster a collaborative culture.
  • Adaptability: Proactive, resilient, and open to a 1-2 year assignment in Malaysia.
  • Personality: Outgoing, approachable, detail-oriented, and adept at cross-cultural communication.

3. Preferred Background:

  • Experience in high-tech manufacturing companies with annual revenue exceeding RMB 500 million.
  • Exposure to Malaysia’s industrial environment or cross-border HR projects.
