Position Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule outlet audits to meet company requirements, and execute improvement plans for effective and efficient audit programs.
- Conduct internal audits at outlets to ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene practices, product quality, and regulatory requirements in accordance with established standards and schedules.
- Review, verify, and follow up on corrective actions by relevant stakeholders to ensure effective and timely implementation.
- Communicate best practices, food safety protocols, and quality standards to retail outlet teams to ensure consistent implementation and awareness.
- Monitor and analyze outlet audit performance, identify gaps through analysis, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality and compliance.
- Maintain relevant documentation, updating and revising as necessary.
- Lead and guide team members to achieve project deliverables, fostering collaboration and maintaining high standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on special projects or tasks assigned by superiors or management.
- Support the development of QA program improvements and lead projects to enhance systems, standards, processes, and procedures.
- Assist in executing the Supplier Quality Management program, evaluate current suppliers, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage, coordinate, and analyze product incidents through root cause analysis and facilitate incident resolution.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of HACCP system compliance, ensuring necessary corrective actions are identified and addressed.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Formal training in technical areas relevant to product safety standards (HACCP / GFSI).
- At least 5 years of experience in quality control and assurance management within the F&B chain industry.
- Fluent in English and Malay (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, quality assurance terminology, and implementation methods.
- Technical experience with certification audits such as HACCP is preferred.
- Ability to articulate information clearly and respond positively to new challenges.
- Effective communication skills with team members, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence, proactivity, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Own transport and willingness to travel.
