Job description

Conduct engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions.

Monitor attendance, academic performance, and progression rates.

Review course materials, assessments, and teaching effectiveness for compliance with MQA standards.

Liaise with industry to foster collaboration and industry opportunities, including funding for lectures.

Prepare reports and documentation for MQA, MOHE, or internal audits.

Communicate with other departments to resolve academic and operational issues.

Ensure compliance with the Programme standards, and the teaching, learning outcomes, and assessments of courses in the programme.

Establish collaborative links with professional bodies for the promotion and development of the discipline.

Coordinate other duties as assigned by immediate superior.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (with strong industry experience).
• Master’s Degree preferred or required for higher-level courses or accreditation purposes.
• Minimum 1 year working experience in education or a related industry.
• Strong English communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Proficient in programming (e.g., Python, Java, C++), databases, networking, cybersecurity, or web development.
• Familiar with current tech trends, tools, and software.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Possess strong networking abilities.
• Passionate about education and mentoring students.
